Licensing board approval:

• There is no licensure board for the Oncology Data Specialist credential.

Leads to national certification or credential:

• Credential after passing National Examination for Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification.

National certification exam:

• National Cancer Registrar Association

Programmatic accreditation:

• National Cancer Registrar Association

Field experience: online or on-ground?

• Completely online field experience. Five required assessments through the NCRA portal to pass field experience course.
